Personally, I have had one fantastic and, unfortunately, one poor experience when buying a house. I can say that it makes a world of difference knowing you matter to your agent. I want to be the person who guarantees a family gets the home buying or selling experience I had the second time around. Everyone deserves to be treated like royalty when making such an emotionally and financially significant decision. Having someone who’s really in your corner and seeks to understand exactly what you’re looking for makes for an immensely less stressful and, overall, more joyful experience. I hope to have the opportunity to be that person for all my clients.

Ashley Weibel, Transaction Coordinator, Realtor

Ashley genuinely likes helping people. She’s spent her professional life in non-traditional settings, working with families and children with behavioral and special education needs, guiding them through life’s twists and turns. Her nurturing nature is a constant, whether she’s fostering animals, raising her own children, or helping others find the right home. She’s hands on, thoughtful, organized and is a trustworthy guide for her clients during their real estate journey. “I understand that everyone’s needs are so different and I’m willing to be as patient or diligent as I need to be to get what that family or individual wants and needs.”

Community Spotlights

PCD Foundation

My niece, Cameron, was diagnosed with PCD as baby. She has had countless surgeries and procedures to help her maintain a level of lung function that most people couldn’t imagine living with. So little is known about this disease and the best ways to treat it and the PCD Foundation helps raise awareness and funding for the research that so many families are desperate for.

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue

This is our personal Angel dog, Josephine, that we “foster failed” with when we were fostering with Angels Among Us. This rescue group has some of the most dedicated and hard working individuals I have ever met and they do everything they can save as many cats and dogs as possible. We loved fostering with them and are very grateful for all the hard and difficult work they do. Josephine is a very special and spoiled animal and she wouldn’t have made her way to our family without Angels.

ForeHadley Foundation

The ForeHadley foundation raises money and awareness for children born with diaphragmatic hernias, like my nephew was. The doctors and nurses at CHOA saved his life and we are very lucky that they had the knowledge and skills required to diagnose and fix this uncommon birth defect. Brody brings a lot of joy, laughter and love to our family!

What People Are Saying About Ashley

Ashley Weibel and Community & Council Realty made my first-time home buying experience feel effortless throughout the entire process. From the start, I had all the worries any first-time buyer would have, not to mention the added uncertainties the post-pandemic market introduced to the process. Ashley was patient with me from day one and helped me hunt down my ideal home after months of my own indecisiveness. Throughout that entire search, she was constantly helping me plan and work with lenders and home inspectors so that there wouldn’t be any surprises along the way.

Once we found my perfect home, Ashley made the closing process as straightforward as possible. I owe additional thanks to Kayla Davis who worked as Ashley’s transaction coordinator as well. Both were a tremendous help keeping me up to date throughout every step of the closing process and answered the countless questions I had along the way. Their coordination with the seller’s agent went so smoothly that there were no issues that came up at all.

I couldn’t be happier with Ashley and all her hard work making this the most simple and yet significant milestone in achieving home ownership. I highly recommend both Ashley and C&C for anyone like me that’s looking for their first or next dream home!

— Daniel S.

Ashley Weibel, of Community and Council Realty, went above and beyond. First off, my family and I had a very tight schedule for looking at houses. We were flying in from the west coast and only had three days to visit properties from Macon to Atlanta. Community and Council were the only real estate office that I interviewed that could immediately offer me a fiduciary type relationship, meaning they were obligated to look after my best interests. The other offices I interviewed brushed me off or weren’t sure what I was talking about. Community and Council offer it up front on their website. Ashley interviewed us carefully about our budget, needs, and wants, and never wavered in understanding what we needed.

We flew in Friday morning early and Ashley was ready to go at 9 am. The airport was slow, so we missed the first two showings, but Ashley was there, sent us pictures and was able to rule two houses off our list before we’d even managed to meet up in Macon. For the next 48 hours, we hit house after house with barely a break and she was always on top of the situation, had the details, instructions, communicated clearly even under stress and was practical and a joy to work with. We narrowed it down to our final two choices that Sunday afternoon and realized we were in a bidding war on the way to the airport, one that had a 90 minute deadline for the house we really wanted. With the help of the Keller Mortgage agent (who has a relationship with Ashley’s office) and a ton of guidance from Ashley, we put together a winning bid over our cell phones and laptop computer on our way back to the airport with minutes to spare. She was amazing. And we got our house!

The rest of the process was difficult, because of issues on the seller’s side and the seller’s lawyer, but Ashley caught their mistakes, managed negotiations, and went above and beyond to make the sale happen. Everything on our end was always ready ahead of time and completely squared away. I will contact her and her office again in a heartbeat, if I need more real estate buying or selling services. They are truly professionals and I recommend them without reservation.
