I feel that it is paramount to use my voice to help safeguard innocent children. Every child deserves to be protected and live in an environment where they can thrive. The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy champions the needs of sexually or severely physically abused children through prevention, intervention, therapy, and collaboration.

Children with cancer are normal kids with special needs who want to participate fully in the everyday experiences of growing up. Camp Sunshine is committed to creating magical moments for children with cancer and to building a community of hope where families with similar experiences draw strength from one another amid common understanding. Since 1983, Camp Sunshine has remained true to its mission of enriching the lives of Georgia’s children with cancer and their families through year-round recreational, educational, and support programs. Today, Camp Sunshine’s programs go far beyond just summer camp and involve opportunities throughout the year. These programs offer campers the chance to experience activities that provide a sense of confidence, hope, and encouragement as they form life-long friendships with others who also understand the great challenges of pediatric cancer.
