About The Community

Hidden on the ‘upper westside’ of downtown Atlanta is the Howell Station Historic District, (also known as Knight Park/Howell Station.) Developed in the late 1800’s around the railroad systems and light industry along Marietta street, this once blue collar neighborhood is thriving with development. You’ll find houses in a variety of architectural styles, restaurants, coffee shops, and plenty of greenspace around Knight Park, Maddox Park and the Beltline’s new Westside Park at Bellwood Quarry. There’s a strong sense of community here in what some call an oasis within a busy urban landscape.
